My husband currently has DACA. He has already renewed it once. The other night his parents mentioned him not being able to renew it after age 30(He is currently 28). Is this true? I thought he only had to be under age 30 during the initial request.

I plied for DACA but before I was granted the permit I was taken in custody by Home Land Security and I was charged with identity theft. In the mean wile I was on pretrial release I was granted with DACA and was able to get my drivers license in Nebraska after they allowed us. I plead guilty to the charge so I will be given a felony on my record on August. so my question is. What will happen after my charge comes in my record? Will it be taken revoked right away or will they wait for the 2 years to be over and don't renew it after?

Just read an article where Obama has halted DAPA implementation. This happened on 6/8. Does this mean the July 10th hearing is also halted? If this is stuck until next year then all hope is gone? Please give us your legal perspective. What does this mean? >>President Obama on Monday confirmed the bad news for up to 5 million illegal immigrants in this country: He has called a halt to Department of Homeland Security preparations to shield them from the threat of deportation because his executive orders have become seriously bogged down in a court challenge.

As a DACA student and employee, I filed taxes for the 2014 fiscal year. I paid the fee for not acquiring a healthcare insurance. However, since we are not legally allowed to purchase an insurance policy within the open market, only private insurances (if state permitted). Are we eligible for some sort of exemption? Doesn't seem fair that we are not allowed to purchase a policy and then get fined for not having one. Thanks.

I came to the States in 2005 and I was under the age of 16. But I came here under my dad's F-1 visa so I had F-2 for 6 years and graduated from high school in the US. Then i left the country for 2 months to get my visa changed to F-1 officially. So my question is, if I have been under F-2 and now I am under F-1 status, can I still apply for DACA? I am a bit confused on why people who currently have no immigration status and were not in any lawful status on June 15, 2012 can apply for DACA?

I recently sent in my first request for DACA only to realize that I had not included a copy of my high school diploma. This occurred because I have had my papers ready since March 2015 (while I was still in high school) and was just waiting for my parents to be able to pay for the fee. Since then, I have graduated high school but I did not include the diploma but instead just sent in the papers that I had ready since March. Would this fact prevent my proposal from being accepted or would it just result in them sending me a request for more evidence/information?

I got caught using a us passport and I was deported in year 2000.I returned two days later on 2000 when I was 20 years old without inspection. I been in the us since than. Even though I came to the US for the first time when I was 11 years old, graduated from H.S. and no criminal record except the deportation in 2000. Do I qualify for DACA?

I know I qualify for DACA but I'm finding it very difficult to find evidence of my continued residence here since I tend to keep a low profile and was never really into social media enough to use that. So I'm wondering what's the least amount of evidence someone can submit for each year in order for them to be approved and how little evidence others who have been approved provided. And can I just photocopy every single page of my past 2 passports (maybe with a current newspaper alongside it or slightly overlapping it) in order to support my having never left the country for several years or is that not solid enough?

I have applied for DACA and USCIS has accepted my case and will be mailing me my receipt and giving me a fingerprint taking appointment soon. However, I will be attending college soon and as part of the steps, I need to attend a One-Week orientation from August 15-through August 22nd. My country's passport is expired and the only thing I have is my Student ID. Could I still travel from The US Virgin Islands to New York without my DACA being finalized? It is very important that I travel. Will I be put in removal proceedings or denied travel if I attempt to travel with only my Student ID? Is there any way I can travel to New York by August 15th even though my DACA papers aren't ready?

My problem is this: I have been living in the US for 5 years continuously (since 2011). However, I first came in May 12, 2010 but had to leave right after. Does that mean that I am not eligible for DACA? Or might there be something else that I can do to solve this?
